Privacy
Last updated 8 September 2026
LoreRoom is built on one promise: you are pseudonymous to readers and verified only to us. This page explains what that means in practice. It describes the product as it works today and will be replaced by a full policy before we open to the public.
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send you a one-time login link. We do not store a password because we never ask for one.
- What you post — reviews, ratings, and discussion replies, along with the institution they refer to.
- Verification details, if you choose to confirm you attended a campus.
What readers see
Your pseudonym and what you wrote. Not your email address, not your name, and not the documents you used to verify. Verification shows up as a badge on your post, never as an identity.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with the institutions you write about. We rely on service providers to run the product — currently Supabase for accounts and the database, and Vercel for hosting — and they process data on our behalf only.
Deleting your account
Email us and we will delete your account and the personal data attached to it. Tell us if you also want your posts removed; we will remove them on request.
